Acupuncture Q. Who is Linden Hills Oriental Medicine? A. Catherine Pruszynski, Licensed Acupuncturist (my license number is "007!"), I am a sole proprietor. My Diploma in Acupuncture is from the renowned Edith R. Davi's, L.Ac., founder of the Minnesota School of Acupuncture and Herbal Studies. Licensure for acupuncture practitioners began in 1995, via the Board of Medical Practice. Be sure to ask any practitioner you interview about their training. Under Minnesota law M.D.'s and chiropractors may do acupuncture with very little or no training. Sometimes acupuncture done this way may still benefit the client, but I prefer an acupuncturist who has studied and understands the profound theory of Oriental Medicine that underlies the choice of treatments.On the Spot
