Apoy
We are a Filipino restaurant in Minneapolis started by three friends with creative minds. We named it "Apoy." Apoy is the word for "fire" in Tagalog, the main dialect of the Philippines. If you are pronouncing "Tagalog" as if it's a schoolyard game you would play with a piece of lumber, you are saying it wrong. We are located in South Minneapolis on 43rd and Nicollet, taking over the spot of the once beloved Anodyne Coffee, so we've got some big shoes to fill. We're currently under construction but plan to be open by the end of July! We will have indoor and outdoor seating as well as a beer and wine bar. We also plan on having occasional live entertainment and communal events. Keep track of us on our news page or like us on Facebook. Hope to see and feed you soon!Bread and Pickle
Bread and Pickle is operated by the folks who bring you Gigis, Bryant Lake Bowl, Barbette, and Red Stag Supper Club. We strive to offer local and sustainably grown ingredients in a zero-waste environmentNaviya's Thai
Since 2004, Naviya’s has been a sophisticated, contemporary and yet an at-home brasserie that serves authentic and quality Thai cuisine. What we have to offer is nothing like the other Thai restaurants in town. We cook every dish not only with fresh ingredients but also with a strong sense of pride. Be this your first or fiftieth visit, we exhibit the very same enthusiasm for your presence tonight. Every visit, no matter the number of times here, we will endeavor to earn your loyalty in very much the same way.Nighthawks Diner and Bar
A postmodern take on the urban american diner. Expect simple, straightforward, and well executed takes on classic diner fare with a few twists along the way. Nightly blue plate specials focus on textbook versions of meatloaf to roast chicken. We will offer a unique selection of local beer and reasonably priced wine. The Book Club
The California-inspired eatery is the delicious result of a partnership between Twin Cities’ restaurateur Kim Bartmann and Chef/Owner Asher Miller. Bartmann Group’s newest offering brings delicious fare to the Armatage neighborhood of Minneapolis with items such as wood-fire grilled Balinese chicken, green curry mussels, and whole fried brook trout. But don’t worry, we’ve got your burger, fries, and your grilled ribeye, too — not to mention vegetables all year long. With a contemporary vibe and a warm neighborhood feel, Book Club is open for lunch and dinner every day, and brunch on weekends. There’s also a full bar, a commitment to craft cocktails, extensive wine and beer lists, and a special section at the bar reserved for those waiting for their take-out. Check it out — you’re overdue!
